Mother's Day Teacup Picture Frame Craft
Objectives
Create a keepsake from your Mother's Day Tea Party
Materials
- Teacup patterns
- Craft paper or craft foam
- Optional: Fancy paper or wall paper for cup shape
- Glitter markers or glitter paint
- Glue stick
- Magnet
- Mother and child photograph
- Scissors
- Glue
Instructions:
Print teacup pattern. Trace saucer background pattern onto craft paper and cut out. Trace cup pattern onto fancy paper or wall paper and cut out. Cut out opening and place picture behind. Glue cup shape with picture to the background. Decorate with glitter markers. Glue a magnet strip to the back.
Variation:
Cup of Tea Card
Print cup pattern and trace on wallpaper or other decorative paper. Have children cut it out and glue (only around the edges) onto cardstock paper. Insert a tea bag with the string hanging out.
